Promoting environmental conservation, reforestation, and climate resilience at the community level. Supporting communities in adapting to the effects of climate change, particularly in the agricultural and water sectors, and raising awareness on sustainable practices.
Communities across Ghana's Eastern Region and beyond are already feeling the effects of a changing climate, from unpredictable rainfall to strain on water and agricultural systems.
We intend to promote environmental conservation, reforestation, and climate resilience at the community level, helping communities adapt in the sectors that matter most to their livelihoods, and raising awareness of sustainable practices along the way.
This focus area works hand in hand with our agriculture and food security work, since the two are inseparable in practice.
